Integrity, at its root, means wholeness β being the same person regardless of who’s watching. This plan explores five dimensions of what that actually looks like.
Day 1 β Walking Blamelessly
Read Psalm 15:1-2.
“He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart.” Integrity starts in the heart, not just in outward behavior.
Try this: Examine your heart today, not just your actions β is there a gap between them?
Day 2 β Job’s Integrity
Read Job 27:5-6.
Even under intense pressure to admit guilt he didn’t have, Job refuses to compromise his integrity: “till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.”
Try this: Where is pressure currently tempting you to compromise something you know to be true?
Day 3 β What You Do in Secret
Read Matthew 6:1-4.
Jesus commends giving done in secret, unseen by anyone but God β integrity is proven by what you do when no one’s watching, not what you display.
Try this: Do one good thing today specifically without anyone else knowing about it.
Day 4 β Let Your Yes Be Yes
Read Matthew 5:37.
“Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.” Integrity includes being reliably truthful, without needing elaborate oaths to be believed.
Try this: Follow through today on a simple commitment you’ve made, without needing reminders.
Day 5 β A Good Name
Read Proverbs 22:1.
“A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches.” Integrity, built over time, produces a trustworthy reputation worth more than wealth.
Try this: Consider one small choice today that would either build or erode your integrity over time.
Closing thought: Integrity isn’t a single dramatic decision β it’s the accumulated pattern of small, consistent choices made the same way whether anyone’s watching or not.
